Trevors Academy was founded in January 2011. It was then called Trevors Learning Center, registered under the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Development, it began as a nursery school on a rented premise with just one child, who was the school Matron’s son, the school grew rapidly due to the high standard set by the founder and Director, Mrs. Everline Ongondo, who before starting the institution was a successful teacher in a prestigious tertiary institution in the country. By 2012 the school acquired a piece of land in Sunton, Chieko Neighborhood.
In 2017 the school moved to its modern facility and by 2020 another plot was bought adjacent to the school to provide enough playground for the very active and agile pupils, in addition, the school also acquired two school vans for transportation. The school is fully registered with the Ministry of Education and is also a member of the Kenya Private Schools, Association (KEPSA), Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the Kenyan Chapter, The Kenya Scouts as well as other development-oriented groups Our aim as an institution is to provide a World Class Education to our pupils who will be sharpers of Kenya’s Vision 2030 and World affairs tomorrow under modern and world-class facilities.
